I have the W key assigned in hot keys, but when i press it it just says something like 'permission to skip to next TGS point' I can't switch off the TGS once it is activated. Haven't tried changing the landing runway yet. Today, planes lining up for 18L at Charlotte Douglas, but ATC sent me to a non...

I used to get this with PFE, but doesn't seem to be a problem with PFE3 mostly because i use ACARS instead of com radio. Tell you what i did discover though..the static sound plays throughout the ATIS loop, and than before starting it's next loop, it becomes silent for a moment. If you wait until th...

Thanks Thomas. I opted to reinstall PFE as i think that sometimes, the detective work takes far longer than just shrugging the shoulders and getting on with it. There was a warning about the potential amount of time involved, but took me about 20 mins. I certainly appreciate the offer of further ass...

Tonight i was ready to start a flight, but when i opened the 'flight plan page' i am presented with multiple way points that read 999 zzzzz 99999. Yesterday i deleted several saved way point adjustment files, and i wonder if i have inadvertently deleted something i shouldn't have done. Can it be res...

Go to your SIDs/STARs page by clicking the box on the main Menu. Type EGLL, and press enter, this will bring up a list of runways. To the left of the runways there is a check box, you can enter x= close runway, B = Take off and landing, T= take off only, L= landing only. This does not affect AI airc...

Thanks for the replies guys, some useful information here. Pssclute I like that idea of locking down the wind direction. I use REX, but it doesn't have that feature, i have had my eye on AS, but i do like using REX. ThamasAH That might be the crack right there. If i get the runway i have programmed,...

Hi all, I have the Majestic Dash 8, and i have to confess that the FMC is giving me a Royal headache. Every single tutorial i have viewed on You Tube has them flying without ATC, good reason for that is you can do what the FMC is programmed to do however, here is the problem. In the real world you d...

Thanks Thomas.
This is a free ware add on for Dublin. Interestingly, from the log you see they cleared me for Runway 29, that runway is in fact, 28/10. I have rebuilt data base and have been using this scenery for about a year without any problems.
