Hi. I know this is an ATC rather than PF3 question but someone may have some insight..

My (FS9) EGLL AFX AFCAD has 09L/27R closed for take off and 09R/27L closed for landing, which I think is how things are at Heathrow. This seems (??) to work for AI traffic, but my own a/c is always directed to land on 27L, not 27R by ATC/PF3 (take offs and landings on 09L/09R seem very rare - I use ActiveSky and real-world weather: but the prevailing winds there aren't westerly, are they??).

Why is the user a/c directed to the 'closed' runway? How would I get my own plane to be directed to 27R (without having to ask for a runway change, which would be no more realistic really)? Maybe the AFCAD settings only work for AI traffic??

Thanks,

Martin

Go to your SIDs/STARs page by clicking the box on the main Menu. Type EGLL, and press enter, this will bring up a list of runways. To the left of the runways there is a check box, you can enter x= close runway, B = Take off and landing, T= take off only, L= landing only. This does not affect AI aircraft.
