Thanks for the reply Dave. The problem is that no matter what frequency i tune to, the noise continues. The only way to stop it is to disconnect from PFE...any suggestions as to how i might stop that WAV from playing over and over again?

When you plan the flight, you can specify the DP and runway etc..ATC clears you to that height and then DP is over when altitude is reached but, on the other page where you can set your altitudes for the flight you have the option to state where the DP ends.....which one setting is the winner?. My ...

Purchased, and installed voice expansion pack...problem solved.

Do you think you could take a look at some logs and see if WAV's are missing.

Nope, same problem..do you think i may have a corrupted download?

I will uninstall it and try reinstalling it with antivirus and fire wall disabled. It has to be something on my end as many win 7 users report great success with it.
Will report back and let you know.
