When you plan the flight, you can specify the DP and runway etc..ATC clears you to that height and then DP is over when altitude is reached but, on the other page where you can set your altitudes for the flight you have the option to state where the DP ends.....which one setting is the winner?. My flights so far, the altitude ends the DP despite where i designate the end of the DP.
Problem... when i tune to ATIS at the destination airport it plays fine and then i switch frequencies, there is a static wav that plays over and over again. It makes hearing any other transmission difficult and is a horrible noise. If i pause FSX, the wav keeps playing, the only way to stop it is to disconnect PFE from FSX. Only destination airport, departure airport is fine.

Your DP is assumed complete when you reach the assigned altitude or first waypoint (or designated waypoint)... whichever comes first.

It sounds like you have tuned to an out of range ATIS frequency. Try changing to an active facility

Thanks for the reply Dave. The problem is that no matter what frequency i tune to, the noise continues. The only way to stop it is to disconnect from PFE...any suggestions as to how i might stop that WAV from playing over and over again?
