Hi,
I have PFE up and running, and just completed my first flight after much tinkering. My first problem is that PFE doesn't seem to recognize add on airports. I have rebuilt the data base and, it said it was successful but the taxi instructions are incorrect and it doesn't recognize the runway thresh hold so i have to contact the tower manually. ( FS dream team Dallas Fort Worth, Aerosoft Paris Orly)
I also have the missing WAVs problem. I have followed the instructions for repairing a bad install, downloaded all relevant files, installed them and run the EXE's...no luck. The only WAVs that are missing (so far) are climb and descend, all the "turn to heading" are all there. My co pilot responds to missing WAVs and if i ask for a repeat, nothing again, and copilot responds.
This looks like a really good programme so i hope i can get it working fully. Any help would be much appreciated.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, AMD Phenom 11x4 945 Processor, 8GB RAM, ATI Radion HD 5450.

Some airports aren't recognised due to the afcads of said airport.
With regards to missing wavs,have you ran the cumulative updater so it's now version 2.14.
Make sure AV and firewall is turned off when installing PFE and it's upate.

I will uninstall it and try reinstalling it with antivirus and fire wall disabled. It has to be something on my end as many win 7 users report great success with it.

Nope, same problem..do you think i may have a corrupted download?

Where have you installed PFE?

Thanks for the continued help Dave. I installed it into C drive, and it created it's own folder.

Do you think you could take a look at some logs and see if WAV's are missing.

Purchased, and installed voice expansion pack...problem solved.
