Hi,

There's just one (tiny) thing on my wish list: when asking for higher or lower altitude (H or L key), sometimes, ATC replies "not possible at this time". But asking the same question 2 seconds later will result in a "Roger, descend or climb to ..." So it is just a random answer. When should the pilots, who need to climb/descend repeat their request? Wouldn't it be great it ATC could note your request and give the autorisation to climb or descend when possible (a few minutes later)?

ATC is a busy department, the controller will have more than just you to deal with,so hence the reason you are told to contact them later,as for getting a call 2 seconds later to do whatever you asked for, maybe he/she was able to deal with you..

Hi Dave,

Hmm, I stated that when asking for a higher/lower altitude, using the L or H keys, sometimes, ATC just says: "impossible at this moment". And that's it as for as I know. They won't contact me later handling my request (that is what I would wish to happen). Or am I to impatient and should I wait longer? Is this feature implemented?

Hi,
this is what the Version History says :

CHANGED the criteria for checking if a request to change altitude is
approved. Originally you had to be above 5000' AGL. This limit has now
been removed. However, there is still a 10% chance you may not get
immediate clearance to change altitude.
