Okay Im using MSFS, I want to use Remote text on my laptop, (both my Flightsim PC and laptop are W10) So I read the manual and the FAQs but I cant seem to get it to work. I copied the Remote Text Application onto my laptop but when I double click it nothing happens. Does not run at all. No screen and no process running in the task manager. I have closed caption mode on, does remote text need some sort of runtime to work? Im lost lol

RemoteText is a standalone program, so please try the following:

Open a command window on your laptop (Windows-R, cmd).
Navigate to the folder where remotetext.exe is located and enter 'remotetext.exe'.

If the program is unable to run for some reason you should see some error messages.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers,
Martin

Weird nothing happens with the cmd prompt either. does this APP need any runtime libraires installed? this is a fresh clean install of w10, on my main pc where pf3 is installed it works, but I want to run it on my laptop, so I just copied the remote text app to this machine. Thank you for your suggestions
