I have implemented PF2000 since it was aviailable back if I remember the FS version correctly with FS2000 (and thankfully PFE restored it for FS9 and FSX). After countless flights for litterally years, I would not be without it and any problems I have had have always been of my own making. With voice recognition PFE/PF2000 is one of my favorite addons for FS. However, the following isolated scenario has be stumped and is the first time I have seen anything like it. If anyone else has seen a similar problem and knows the solution, your help would be appreciated.

Flightplan: KRIC-SVILL-TAPPA-COLIN-OTT-KILG
Altitude: 7,000 MSL
Aircraft: Any

Note that the following only occurs when implementing PFE/PF2000. Without useing PFE/PF2000 the flight goes flawlessly.

With this flightplan after passing the OTT waypoint on Victor 433, between 66 DME and 65 DME from KILG FS9 freezes. The only way I can do anything at that point is to shut down FS9 and start over. I have tried this repeatedly with various aircraft including the FS9 default 172 and always get the same results.

Any ideas?

Respectfully:
RTH

On the AvSim Forum Rafal apparently had the solution with the following recommendation:

"In your fsuipc.ini find the GENERAL section and add a line: RemoveATC=Yes"

The speculation is that there is a conflict between default FS ATC and PFE ATC of some kind. Being that there is no communication taking place when the freezeup takes place, I have no idea what the logic is here, but with the edit the problem went away. Without it, I get the freeze of FS9 every time as I described in my original post. Hopefully this type of problem will not occur again, but we will shall see what we shall see:

Happy flying:
