Hello all,

iam Thomas and iam a Cockpitbuilder for many years. I purchased PFE for about 1 and a half year. I never get it to work, so it was long time not in use.

Today i wanna give it a new chance, but i must confess, that i does not work again.

I use the current version with both voice packs installed.

Iam able to convert Flightplans and also to start a flight. But the ATC Responses let me become crasy.

ATC often not gives me Feedback "Radback correct", or "Contact Tower on...". I don't need the Copilot, because i want respond with my headset with pressing the regarding key (0/ \) .

Somtimes the clearance appears on the FSUIPC window, but without voice!?

Another issue: I request taxi on the Ground frequency and i get the clearance. Now i switch over to Tower, but when i press 0, PFE ask for taxi clearance again?!?!?!?

How can i setup PFE to works as it should?

1) I request taxi or what ever
2) i get the clearance and the new frequency to switch over
3) I can contact the new ATC station

I dont want hear the COPILOT, because i talk with my headset.

Hope i will not need to stop again with PFE and bun the CD:-)

Regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas, that's what I do to get PFE to work (let's say it works at 95%...):

-Disable ALL antivirus software,
-Add PFE directory to exclusion list of your antivirus,
-Run isntaller as Administrator,
-Install PFE, latest patch and missing files patch which are located here,
-Go to PFE main directory and run all .exe one after another (I really have no idea what it does, but it makes difference in my system if I do it or not),
-Enable your antivirus again,
-Try running your PFE (as Administrator), with some luck it will work ;)

All this effort shouldn't be needed, but unfortunately it is...

Regards,
