Hi All,
I purchased totday Pro Flight Emulator Deluxe and i receive the following error code - Startup failed 'main' with error 339 component 'mswinsck.ocx' or one of its dependies not correctly registrated a file is missing or invalid at 260.
I hope someone can help me otherwise my 45€ is lost.
I deinstalled and installed again with the same result.
I'm working with Windows 7 and FSX.

Thanks

Well i have said file in my Windows/SYSWOW64 folder...I'm assuming you are using 64bit!

Have you installed PFE with AV and Firewall turned off?

Have you altered your system in anyway recently,ie deleted something from your system?

Have you googled for said file from internet to repair your system or try to repair your system using windows disk?

Try downloading and installing the cumulative updates package and when doing so turn off all other programs, especially anti virus and any other security type programs

I had the same problem. It is a common problem that I don't think has anything to do with PFE. Google it and you will see how to resolve by finding the file in your registry and clicking on it to register it. If the file is missing you will have to download it. I think most registry clean-up software usually fixes it too.

Wel I downloaded the file - registered it and still the same message - Not compatible with your system.
Is it not because it's windows 7 ? In google you find that the file doesn't exits in Win 7 - Does the program is not working than in win 7 ?
after hours downloading, restarting i'm ...... up - I just like to use it
