Good evening everyone!
Sorry for my english not well...but i'm Italian.

I used to make flight plan for fs using "route finder" (h**p://rfinder.asalink.net/free/), and then SimRoutes (h**p://www.simroutes.com/fb2/details.aspx).

Thi two sites are a very good (free) way to make real flight plan. However, when i save it in FSX files folder, and try to convert it for PFE, they tell me that is not necessary convert it or it's a not known format.

I know that a would save the flight plan for fs2000, but on SimRoutes the first FS present is FS2002.
So, have anyone used theese sites and know how they can work with pfe.

Or is there someone that could tell me a better method then fsx to make flight plan (not FS Commander because after 30 euro of PFE, 10 euro of expansion pack and 12 euro of Fspassengersx i wouldn't like spend anymore....

Thank's!!!

I think you'll find SimRoutes works just fine. The message say 'Conversion not necessary' because the flight plan can be used as it is.

What problems are you experiencing?

Maybe i don't know how PFE work, but when i fly, using copilot mode 2 (change frequency and all comm's) i don't receive any istruction about heading....

Yesterday, for example, i tryed a flight from torin to nice, a very short flight, but starting from runway 36 i should turn left for nice, like in the gps. I choosed to wait for atc istruction, but also at 60 miles far from the first waypoint (i was flying in the oppost direction) ATC didn't tell me anything!!

ok, i'm trying a longer flight, from LIMF to LIRF.

Do you know if Fspassengersx cause problems with PFE?
Today, at LIMF, ground gave me instruction for taxi, with destination runway 18 using taxi way y 1 c b a.

Now, i followed y1 C and stop before runway, but copilot didn't say anithing to tower, and didn't switch freq to tower.
I switched myself freq and requested clearence to takeoff. According with tower begin my flight but on FSUIPC dispaly appeared TGS deactivating...after that, ATC communicate to me only to change freq with center or Roma control etc... but nothing about heading....and my co pilot is praticly dead....

now i'm flying and i have to use the gps to correct manually HDG...

Other problem....i can responde ROGER....because if i press "\" anything change!!!1

Please help me...i read all manuals and tutorial...and i can't fly at well after 4 days....

PS: on my gps the WPT doesn't change!!!...i'm nera LIRF and WPT is always LAGEN...at 144nm....now 145...:D....

First what version of LIMF are you using? I use the scenery from http://www.vvtorino.it/public/root/download.php?view.40
Secondly is your flightplan format acceptable? Mine is:-
[flightplan]
AppVersion=9.1.40901
title=LIMF Torino to LIRF Roma Fumicino
description=LIMF, LIRF
type=IFR
routetype=2
cruising_altitude=16000
departure_id=LIMF, N45* 12.05', E7* 38.98', +000989.00
departure_position=1
destination_id=LIRF, N41* 48.27', E12* 15.05', +000015.00
departure_name=Torino
destination_name=Roma Fumicino
waypoint.0=, LIMF, , LIMF, A, N45* 12.05', E7* 38.98', +000989.00,
waypoint.1=LI, LAGEN, , LAGEN, I, N44* 23.65', E8* 29.88', +000000.00,
waypoint.2=LI, ANAKI, , ANAKI, I, N44* 12.07', E8* 43.53', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.3=LI, IXITO, , IXITO, I, N44* 8.08', E8* 48.22', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.4=LI, UNITA, , UNITA, I, N43* 56.67', E9* 1.50', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.5=LI, KAFEE, , KAFEE, I, N43* 48.00', E9* 11.52', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.6=LI, KONER, , KONER, I, N43* 30.28', E9* 31.80', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.7=LI, MAURO, , MAURO, I, N43* 11.28', E9* 53.25', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.8=LI, ELB, , ELB, V, N42* 43.84', E10* 23.74', +000000.00, UL50
waypoint.9=LI, GILIO, , GILIO, I, N42* 22.00', E10* 55.57', +000000.00, UM729
waypoint.10=, LIRF, , LIRF, A, N41* 48.27', E12* 15.05', +000015.00,

If you are using the latest version of PFE 2.14 you should be able to add sids and stars to facilitate your departures and arrivals. It works quite well. The only problem I have with LIRF is that PFE ATC almost always changes the runway upon arrival. Unless it is blowing a gale whic is rare!

I don't know about that Flight Plan, because i'm trying another flight, from LIRF to LICJ, and all work well!!

The only things is that PFE can't see when i'm on the right runway...and this create some problem with the takeoff, because co pilot adjust my HDG with the point i've to reach for take off, and when i'm ready he can't change...so when i' running for takeoff i have to balance the cloche to remain on runway and once "on air" (sorry) it's very very difficult control the aircraft...after 20 seconds, hdg is adjusted and all procees well...but is very strange!

Cancel the taxi guidance system with the 1 key when you get to the runway hold point you want to use and then you can change frequency to the tower and ask for take-off. You need to be within 700 feet of the assigned runway threshold to get the controller to automatically tell you to contact the tower.

Ok Thank's...

Now...was proceeding all at well, but FS crashed before landing....i pay 37 euro for PFE and i didn't have make one decent flight yet! :S...-.-

Just one thing...but when i'm near the airport, approach tell me to remain at a certaing HDG and contact tower at my discrection....but when i contact tower, thei only say to me to declare when i enter in downwind, base and final...

With the FS ATC tower gave you information about heading also for landing....is wrong the FS atc or is wrong PFE??

It sounds like you're flying VFR rather than IFR
