Does this new guage only function if you have widefs?
I'm running dual monitors without widefs. When I click exe it does not seem to do anything.

Hi,

The TGS Display ... when running more than one pc or multiple monitors.

You can find all this in the ProFlight2000.pdf file in the Help directory of PFE (page 106 : 11. TGS gauge replacement program)

Just check you run the latest version 2.14.0

I read those instructions and the guage is not working when FSX and PFE are running.
I have 214 update installed.
I can see the INI file but nothing happens hence the question do you need wide fs to use it.
Thanks Ken

Hi Ken

One of us is getting confused.... are you talking about the gauge or the TGS Display utility. If the later then no, you do not need WideFS.

Have you checked our (PFE) FAQ's... it may be worth downloading the setup program for the TGS Display utility

I'm talking about the tgs_display.exe see the topic title.
Originally I tried using the exe that was included with the update to 214.
That file created a ini file but nothing further happened after I got clearence to taxi from atc.
Because of your last note I went to the FAQ's and downloaded the display exe from that link.
When I run that exe I get runtime error 75.
Thanks Ken

I did see the 'topic' title but in a subsequent post you mention a gauge!

Is the program running.... i.e can you see it in Task Manager?

To clarify whats going on.
If I start the tgs_dispaly.exe with fsx and pfe not running I get error # 75 and task manager shows it running.
If I start PFE Load a flight, start fsx at a gate, connect PFE to fsx, start the TGS_dispaly.exe,
contact ATC and get clearence to taxi I get the same error #75 and task manager shows that the TGS_Display is not running.

Ken,

The problem is an access error... either when attempting to read/write the PFE_Display.INI file of the PFE_Disp.Dat file. Try setting PFE_Displayer to run as Administrator
