| Hi all My PF3 states its version 3.0 but I see from the website its 3.2, when I click update it says I am running the latest version, can you advise? | The latest non-beta release is actually 3.20, not 3.2 - an update from release 3.0 won't work as the mechanism has changed. You need to download and manually install the latest cumulative update from here: http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/pf3_update ... _Setup.zip Martin |

| In addition to Martin's post, next time you need to do a full install you can request a more up to date base version for PF3. Just go to the downloads section of our website, select the full installer, enter your email address and valid activation code and a link week be sent. Currently the base installer is 3.16 and the auto installer will work correctly. |

| I don't understand why we have to jump through hoops to get the latest version. I just bought PF3 and got a link to full installer 3.16 !? Why? So I installed that and it did automatically update but it still says 3.16. I downloaded the cumulative update from the link above but Windows defender blocks it because of virus threat. So what now? |

| The base installer was updated not so long ago from 3.0 to 3.16, which was the latest version at that time. PF3 is constantly being updated to fix any issues and to add new features. However, it's not a simple task to update the base installer and distribute it to all the resellers, in fact its a perverbial pain, so it is only done periodically. If you could zip and attach all the log files from your pf3/logs folder we might be able to ascertain why the auto updates failed. The error you're getting from Windows defender for the cumulative updates package is a false positive. |

| I don't see a PF3_Updater.log in that zip file which says to me that the auto updater didn't run. The easiest thing to do is to exclude the Cumulative Update package from Windows Defender processing and run it again. Cheers, Martin |

| I actually did run it manually and I get response that there are no updates and the program is up to date but it still shows 3.16 in the opening screen. I will give it another try this afternoon. |

The same like in the screenshot of the first post (OP) except mine has 3.16 |
