| Hi Dave, Load FS2020 Flight Plan then PF3. Receive Clearance and Taxi instructions. Begin taxi (have Heading Bug and Audio Guidance checked in PF3 ). I get Heaving Bug Guidance but no audio nor Takeoff clearance. Checked General and Assistance options and everything seems to be OK. Also i read a post where the audio was "bear left to taxiway G". I have never had that detailed audio. Just bear left ,right, straight on. steady! How have I messed up this time. pck42 |

| I can see by the log that you did actually get taxi guidance along the way, as you mentioned in your post, why you couldn't hear them, although you must have heard them to tell me about them, I have no idea. Very strange The reason you had no takeoff clearance is because you never tuned to Tower control and report you were ready to take off |

| Hi Dave, OK with more checking, I found that while I hear the initial Clearance and taxi to Instructions and proceed via the heading bug to the taxiway, I do not get audio Guidance i.e. bear left, bear right steady etc. I can contact ATC for permission to continue taxi, ask and receive takeoff clearance. C/S/T is working for Departure Hotkeys. I simply do not hear the audio taxiway guidance and certainly not at the level that I mention in previous post. I also discovered that PF3 Display is not running (red lights not green). BTW when PF3 load it loads PF3.exe not wx.exe as it did previously. I have attached the PF3 ini file in the hope that you get a chance to look it over and perhaps find a clue re the missing audio. I am currently reinstalling FS2020 to see if that helps. pck42 |

You can use the cumulative update to refresh your PF3 installation - this should replace any files that may be missing: http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/pf3_update ... _Setup.zip You might also like to try updating the DirectX routines that PF3 requires - they are quite old and not on all systems. | There's nothing wrong with the log files and according to them you are getting the guidance calls... why you're not actually hearing them is baffling me! |

| Please can you try resetting the PF3 audio selection to see if that fixes the problem: Options #2, Advanced Options, then Audio Output Configuration (bottom left) - then select 'Use Windows Default'. Cheers, Martin |

| Dave this is getting very interesting. Updated the Direct X files and ran the Cumulative Setup. Loaded MSFS and PF3. What!!! PF3 asks if I want Allow wx.exe to make changes to my pc. Wait a minute, that was how it used to load. OK i load it and voila I got taxi instructions. Wonderful you would think. OK, I leave and shut down. Come back later and load everything again. Hey, now it wants to load PF3.exe again! (expletive) Of course no taxiway guidance. Got TSG audio shut off tried visual, No visual guidance either. Turned all off and, taxi then shut, down turned TGS back on. Set audio to default, Nothing! Please note that PF3 Displayer is not loading (red lights) Don't see much use to include another debug but will do so anyway cause if I don't, it didn't happen. Any clues now? pck42 |

| The message asking if you want wx.exe to make changes to your system is not a pf3 message, it's either Windows or your anti virus. Wx.exe doesn't actually change anything in your system other than writing some small text files. You need to look beyond pf3 in afraid to fix your problems |
