I just bought PF3 and went through the whole install process. Then it said there were some additional files that needed to be downloaded, so I waited while that happened. Then the installer told me it couldn't replace a .wav file. I did Retry, Ignore, and it kept prompting me to do one or the other; neither of which worked. Finally I chose Abort because it's the only thing that worked.

Now I'm getting Runtime Error 399: Component csf.osx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. And the program won't start.

I'm running as Admininstrator.

Help!

Just as an update, I reinstalled and went through the update and got the same result when I agreed to update. The update stalled at ...PF3\wav\rade\pfatc59L.wav. I tried Retry, Ignore, and finally Abort and got the runtime error. So I uninstalled and reinstalled a third time but did not agree to the update. It launched without a problem.

Okay, so where are we now?

What version number is showing on your main menu?

If it's version 3.0.0 then you only have the base installation and need to update to the latest release. On some systems the 'Check for Updates' feature doesn't always work at the base level, so the easiest way to update is to download and install the latest cumulative updates package from the Maintenance Release post above
