It means you had another error at some point and PFE stopped... then you restarted PFE and had the same or another error and PFE stopped.... you then restarted PFE and THEN had the Hotkey error appear.

So, my question is, what happened?

Dave that solves that one. I appear to have a dodgy connection when I connect FS and have been going back to check. Sometimes PFE appears in Add-ons and sometimes not...any clues Nev

Also sometimes get "error reading hot keys "hit"" location"

If you're running the latest version of PFE (version 2.11.1) it NEVER appears in addons!

If you sometimes don't get an addon menu running FSX the problem is with simconnect, but that was addressed in SP1 and/or SP2
