I've been completely flummoxed trying to get this on.

Now I can't get PF3 to work at all. It keeps asking me for my activation key and password and when I give it, it tells me to report it to you with this ... whatever....:-
'POC 900980-0-0>C:\WINDOWS\system32<'

So now what do I do?

Meantime PF3 doesn't work at all.

John

If you confirmed the update and were then instructed to deactivate/reactivate PF3 then the update has worked. To deactivate you need to use the password you setup when you first activated PF3 after purchasing it, but a lot of users seem to be entering their activation code despite the screen clearly saying otherwise. After that you will have to reactivate PF3 and that requites the activation code and the password.

If you have done this correct and still having problems please email direct and I'll sort it out for you

Dave. Thanks for your prompt reply.

The situation is this. I click on my PF3 shortcut and go through all the steps it asks me for and end up with this:

'PF3 X

Error in CL Err: 53 Desc: File not found Loc:44C

OK'

When I press the 'OK' all I get is my desktop.

If I click on my PF3 shortcut, it just takes me through the same procedure again...with the same result.

Please right-click PF3.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' and see what happens.

If you get the same problem please EMAIL ME with your Activation code. DO NOT POST IT HERE!!

Yep. That seems to have done it. Thanks Dave. They seem the same but I wonder if that's changed any of my settings? We'll see.

Thanks again.

I was wondering if the update and messing about had changed anything that I had set up like Co-pilot voice etc., that's all.

It works perfectly I'm very relieved and glad to say. :D

Thanks Dave.

No, if we had to change anything like that we'd warn you. Please do take the time to read the version history document, in your help folder, so you know all about the changes for each release.
