PF3 and the manual that comes with it obviously expect the user to be familiar with the ATC regulations that have to be observed. Which is fine because it is an ATC Addon and not an ATC Class Addon.

Nevertheless I suppose a large percentage of the flightsimmers are no real world pilots and have limited knowledge about the relevant ATC regulations. This includes myself who has only had a brief glimpse into it when getting a sailplane license years ago.
Many questions here on the forum show that problems users have with PF3 are partly caused by the lack of knowledge about ATC regulations (this also includes myself).

I am always impressed by the knowledgeable instructions Vololiberista gives here on the forum. They are very much appreciated.

Vololiberista, if you ever find the time, would you consider writing a consolidated manual about the ATC regulations that are relevant for a realistic use of PF3?
I'm sure there are tons of other sources for this on the web. But one of the problems with these is that you never know if something might not be implemented in PF3 for whatever reason which finally will lead to even more uncertainty. So it would be ideal if such a manual would be written by someone who has a profound knowledge not only about ATC regulations but also about how PF3 works.
Vololiberista, it would be highly appreciated! And bear in mind it would simplify your job on the forum because many of the questions would already be answered in that Manual ;) .

Links to some useful websites on this are also welcome of course.

Thank you very much and best regards

Ralf

I'll think about it certainly. The problem of course is that any manuel has to cover both FAA and ICAO regulations. If I look to my left I have six shelves of about 1.5 metres length full of yellow manuals. Each yellow manual is issued either monthly bi monthly or quarterly with changes ranging from small, insignificant to major. Having said that basic concepts don't often change so it's doable. Once I've finished my Mother's probate I'll see what I can do.

Great to hear that, thank you!
