minor issue, heading change direction

I notice many times that when given a heading change on approach, if I am on a heading of say 320 , ATC will say "turn left to 340. Not a big deal, but it happens often, I am wondering if there is an easy fix for that.

I thought I had this problem on that flight I may be mistaken. Will post another log if it occurs again.
