Hi there,

I don't know if they will be a pair of silly questions -probably- , but I have two doubts about the use of 'Rebuild PF3 Database':

1 - I use PF3 with FS2004 and FSX. Do I have to rebuild PF3 Database each time I change the flight simulator?

2 - Today I have applied an update for ORBX FTX Global Base. Do I have to rebuild PF3 Database?

Thank you in advance. :)

The only 'silly' questions are the ones you don't ask! :)

1. No, provided you have built the database for each one then PF3 will know which FS you are using when you 'connect' to it and then use the relevant data. When setting up SIDs/STARs and PF3 is not 'connected' to FS you will have to tell PF3 which database you wish to save the settings to by selecting the correct FS at the lower right of the screen.

2. I don't know what's actually in the update you refer to but the safest bet would be to update the PF3 database

from what i understand, you only have to rebuild after adding a new airport...which for me is every time!...just make sure to choose the appropriate path for the sim you are flying.

You add a new airport to fs everytime you fly?
