First, I copied TGS.gau to gauges folder. Then I added TGS gauge in NGX's panel.cfg as stated in the manual, and this is how it looks like in my case when replaced Fire Protection Panel:

window04=TGS

[Window04]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=100,100
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=7
visible=1
ident=5000
window_size_ratio=1.0

gauge00=TGS!TaxiGuidanceSystem, 0,0,100,100

After starting a flight and receiving taxi instruction from PF3, I press Shift+5 to open TGS gauge panel and P3D crashes right away with some sort of StackHash error.
What can be wrong?

If i'm not mistaken and you can correct me if i'm wrong...have you replaced a panel window with TGS?
If so that could be the issue.

Yes, replaced Fire Protection panel window in NGX (Shift+5), as stated above. I added the gauge and TGS panel window exactly as stated in the manual, it was working fine in FSX.

I don't have P3D so can't advise any further, FS2004 & FSX i could have.
This could be down to the structure of P3D,it maybe similar to FSX-SE which has everything thrown in so won't allow any alterations to stock or 3rd party aircraft, caution is always advised when altering panels and making a copy of panel.cfg is always advisable.

It has already been discussed here:

It's not working in P3DV3. You can only use the standalone TGS_Display.exe. That works fine though it's suboptimal when the sim runs in fullscreen mode of course.

Thanks! At least I will not fiddle with the gauge anymore until it is fixed. I'm using TGS Display of course, but it is not practical even in windowed mode. If there is an "on top of all" option in the app.

Also, I must ask, will the TGS gauge be fixed? It's strange they released the PF3 compatible with p3d v3 but without stating about gauge incompatibility.

Have you tried using just the voice option instead. It is more realistic and I have never had trouble with it. This is a real life example

No it won't be fixed because it's not broken! There are other things that do not work with P3D, like the kneeboard display, but that doesn't mean there's something to fix in PF3, it's just that P3D does 'some' things differently to MSFS

I have checked voice option, and I have trouble following it, always manage to miss specific taxiway/waypoint and ended up having trouble to get takeoff clearance. :)

@dmarch
Ok, good to know. Can gauge be compatible with P3D v3.2 anyway? Cheers!

You can use the HDG Bug which points in the direction of your next taxi waypoint... this, in addition to the voice prompts should help
