I did an update today because of a minor taxiway change at LIPZ and then PFE seemed to forget the preset Italian transition altitude of 6,000ft reverting to the US 18,000feet. The Transition alt page in PFE is correct. So something else has gone wrong. It says on the trans alt page "This option is activated by entering ZERO in Proflight's Transition Altitude setting Option". I can't find such an option anywhere either in PF2000 or PFE.

Open PF2000....settings....on the right is a box with "Flight Level Altitude" above it. Set that to 0

That is currently set to 6000. How much of a difference would that make?

I have my PF2000 setting at "0". I have entered individual trans altitudes for the various areas in the PFE page for transition altitudes. This works for me. What do you have Italy set to in PFE ?

Also check your SIDS/STARS page for LIPZ. I think (only think) that a different setting on that page might override the general settings.

The transition level for Italy is 6,000ft. That was set and an x put in the transition level page in PFE and 6,000 put also in PF2000.
The SID I set up for LIPZ finishes at FL140. It was all working ok until I ran makerwys earlier. PFE then forgot other SIDS even though they were listed and they had to be resaved. So I don't know what happened.

Did you lose all your previously configured data?

Hi Dave,
The answer is yes and no. No I didn't in the sense that info for that and other airports was still displayed. But yes in the sense that PFE ignored everything and gave me a Delta Papa departure. So I had to resave everything.

Mmmmh... well if the info was displayed it was still in the database and therefore it had been saved and restored during the rebuild. Very strange. I certainly don't have an immediate answer

Yes it's a similar problem that occurred in 2.13. I've sent you an email. Two actually because the first didn't have the log attached. Sorry.
