I noticed ATC is vectoring to intercept the ILS too much close of the landing runway. This make difficult to land when flying a jetliner. Is there a way to increase the distance to intercept the ILS? Thank you.

Good Question, I also experience this.

Open PF2000. Under settings you can change the intercept distance.
