It's been so long since I've created and run and "adventure" on FS9 that I can't remember much about how they work. Can you save an adventure flight and them load and resume it later? Also, will PFE automatically pause a flight at X distance from the destination airport, or based on some other criteria?

Any observations on the advantages/disadvantages of PFE vs. Radar Contact would be appreciated. I've been using RC for many years, but it looks like there will be no further development of that program. I also many years ago used Dave's FDC and have fond memories of it. :)

I had RC for a very short while but kicked it into touch ;) when Dave M bought out PFE.

The voices are REAL,(radio distortion as an added extra) you have Oceanic procedures, contact Shanwick or Gander Oceanic,Taxi Guidance from Gate to runway and to Terminal or Gate at your arrival airport.

You can alter the altitude in flightplanning to suit your flight to follow proper flight levels...East to West etc.

SID's and STAR's can be added using proper procedures or you can use PFE's SID's or STAR's as an option.

PFE and FDC can be used together which adds to the realism.

And finally....if you have a problem and you can't find what you are looking for , you can usually get answer within 24hrs and sometimes within an hour depending who's online..

Thanks Dave and Dave. :) I know from the early days of FDC that Dave March provides excellent support, so that's not a concern I have. The only other question I can think of right not is whether or not PFE's flight planner database of SIDs, STARs, etc. can be kept current. I have the PSS Dash-8 and can download updated data from navigraph.com, but that data works only with the Dash-8's FMC.

The voices are REAL,
Now this I must object to, having recorded one of the voice sets for RC v3. As far as I know, my voice is real. I know what you mean, though.

PFE doesn't have a flight planner but supports many third party planners along with the FS one. PFE uses FS navaid and airport data.
