Hi

Just purchased PFE for about 40 euros, but cant use it cause it crashing soon as i connect to FSX.

Shows the pfe intialsing string in the pop up window then then gone.

There is a thread here where exact same problem was raised , but was not resolved.

Other cases of same issue can be seen if you google "PFE Initialising crash"

Any ideas

Hello,
I've been having the same problem. I used PFE updated everything and it worked fine when I bought it a few days ago and now it just crashes when I hit connect to FS, which I am using FSX. The version of PFE I have installed is 2.14.0 and it will say it is Initialising in my main FSX window but then PFE crashes and about a minute later the PFE Initilising box will disappear.
Any help will be appreciated! 40 is a lot to spend on a game especially a download, I won't even spend 40 or more on a PS3 game..
Thanks,
Rob Boales

Hi Rob

Please try downloading and installing the cumulative updates package from this forum, even though it's the same version. When doing so please stop all other programs especially our anti virus and any other security type programs you might have. Also, do NOT install into the default C:\Program Files folder if running Windows Vista or later as the OS considers that to be a protected area and will result in many issues.

Hope this helps
