Good _______ (insert your time of day). I completed my first flight with PFE. I flew from GMME to GMTT along the northwestern edge of Africa. It was a VFR flight, and I enjoyed the way PFE handled the flight.

There was an issue about 30 miles out of GMTT that had me going in a verbal circle. Center cancelled flight following, squawk 1200, change to Approach. Approach then would issue a squawk code, re-establish flight following and send me back to Center. Repeat the last two sentences 6 times until I got 10 miles out of GMTT, at which point Center took care of announcing my position and sending me to Tower for landing instructions. My co-pilot looked a bit haggard after all the button pushing and knob turning during the exchange. She did mention a few times that she wished they would make up their *&^%$# minds, but she was a trooper. We got on the ground and finished the flight in style.

Over all a great experience. Now to cross into southern Spain, but that's another day. Thanks Dave for a great product.

Thanks for the feed back. Remember to watch your altitude on VFR flights.... if you go above the TA for the area your in then VFR will be cancelled.

Thanks for the tip, Dave. By the way, how long does it usually take for Registration to send the *.key file? I am now 4-days out of not being able to run the program and concerned that the weekend is upon us. Thanks again.

Humor keeps us young -- nothing like spelling "registration" without the first "i" -- resent again 1418 UTC.
