Hello,
I've been using PFE for a few years now, most of the time without problems.
But recently I purchased the PMDG 777 and since then i'm venturing into a new world for me, that is the world of long haul flights.
Last night I wanted to recreate the real world BA15 flight, going from Heathrow to Singapore. I had PFPX create a flightplan for me and exported it to FSX.
I then succesfully recompiled the plan to PF2000 format. But then the problem emerged. The Compile button in PF2000 remained greyed out.
I tried fiddeling with the settings, but no success. I then tried to figure out if it was related to origin or destination airport by compiling a EGLL-OMDB flight and a OMDB-WSSS flight. Both worked fine.
I saw that the EGLL-WSSS flightplan I created consists of 108 waypoints. So I first tried to compile a EGLL-VHHH flightplan of 112 waypoints => no success. I tried to delete some waypoints in the original EGLL-WSSS flightplan, reducing the number to 87 => success! flightplan compiled...
Now, my question: Is there a workaround for this? Or is there a max nr of waypoints PFE can handle?
Thx in advance for any advice!
Kind regards,
Nico
