PFE closing on connect to FS!

Post subject: PFE closing on connect to FS!

Hi I have a problem. Whenever I press the connect to FS button PFE closes! Please help and if you need it, tell me what information you need as I will be happy to provide it!

Is this a new installation or did it used to work but now doesn't?

Do you have the latest version of FSUIPC installed?

What version of FS?

What version of PFE?

Where is PFE installed?

No not new installation.

FSX gold

PFE 2.15

Default location. (do I have to reinstall PFE to change that?)

The default installation differs, depending on when and where you purchased PFE, so please be specific.

That's the default install location for the old installer of Windows XP times ... since Windows 7 (or already Vista? Not sure) there are certain restrictions about the interaction of programs in this folder and since PFE wants to interact with PF2000 _and_ FSX, you should use a different location, e.g. C:\aerosoft\PFE or D:\flightsimstuff\PFE
(the same is true for nearly all FSX related programs)

Yes...and remove any old entries pertaining to PFE, and turn off any AV you may have turned on.
