I have installed the XPackII files and everything went OK. However, when I go to the Options#1 area to active this the "Use the XPackII" box is greyed out.

I have overcome this problem by altering the XPack2 entry from 0 to 1 in the PF_Emulator.ini file and there is now an "x" in the "Use the XPackII" box, but it is still greyed out. I don't understand why this is happening.

I have checked for an update of PFE which has confirmed that I am using the current version which I am running on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. I also have PFE installed outside of Program Files so permissions should not be an issue.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Are you talking about the payware voice expansion set or the free voice enhancement set

It's the freebie one. And I forgot to mention that I'm using FS9.

Ah! No, I haven't. There's so much to learn about this proggie that I think I either missed this or else forgotten it.

I'll go get the payware version shortly.

OK, I've bought the expansion pack now but you might like to think about changing the link on your product feature page from Aerosoft [they don't sell it anymore] to Digital River - which I found through Google.
