Hi,

is there a native P3D v.2 installer planned for this program? I already own PFE, but if i remember right, i installed it with the "FSX to Prepar3D Migration Tool". I may be wrong, but i think you should put in a native installer, and get it back to shops like simMarket, showing people that it's also compatible with P3D v.2. There isn't much competition around, concerning ATC addons. And if someone doesn't like to talk to his PC (i always felt silly doing that), it's virtually the only ATC addon available.

I understand the generic installer allows PFE to work with P3D so why would we need another installer?

Hi Guys.

Trying out P3D V2.0 on my client. I have activesky2012, FSC, and PFE running on a networked laptop. Activesky connects fine, and so does FSC.

I am having a problem with PFE though. It works fine with FSX running on the client, but when I load an adventure with P3D running, I get a "not enough hotkeys" error from PFE, and it then crashes.

Any ideas?

Terry

Hi Guys.

Got it sorted! Went back to FSX! Doh!

I know that it does not solve the actual problem, but P3D is not playing the game in so many ways! Just to list some of the problems I am having with P3D. Most of it seems to be to do with multi monitor support (although I am only using V 2.0). If I try to go into full screen mode, P3D displays all the instruments, and external spot view, but the cockpit on the main display disappears, and the computer freezes! I can only run it windowed! I tried to install the latest FSUIPC (using migration tool), and that installs fine into FSX but comes up with a warning that P3D version is higher than FSUIPC recognises! Frame rates really slow. I cannot use my favourite LevelD 767. It does install, and sort of works, but in the VC, none of the MCP buttons or speed/altitude/heading work, unless I open a windowed separate MCP? Everything works on that, but not in the main VC cockpit view!

I could not get PFE to work with P3D at all! My original post was because I noticed the "not enough hot keys" error, so I unchecked most of the hot key assignments. Now, when I try to connect to P3D, PFE just crashes completely! I get a FSUIPC "establishing connection" window, but then PFE crashes on the networked laptop!

Without changing anything at all, and just exiting P3D and starting FSX, PFE works fine!

Anyway, just passing on info, and if anyone can come up with a solution to PFE not working with P3D V 2.0 (networked), I would be interested.

Cheers.

Terry
