Greetings

I noticed in there are duplicte waypoints listed in the FP Adjustment page. I deleted all flight plans and went to the FP Adjustment page. Waypoints were still duplicated. Is this normal. Did I miss something in the manual? Any help would be appreciated.

That's normal. PF2000 creates some intermediary waypoints as reference points for various things... emergency airports, altitudes, etc.

And is it ok to manually adjust them all to my cruising altitude?

You can't adjust the duplicated waypoints but when you adjust the main waypoint PFE will adjust the others accordingly

Thanks for the fast reply Dave. I did a quick experiment. I tried, and was able, to put different altitudes into the duplicate waypoints EG: ANTLR 27000 and ANTLR 33000. What is the upshot of doing this? Which waypoint altitude will PFE use?

I should note though that although the waypoints are duplicated, PFE will only allow a SID or START to end/start on one of the duplicated waypoints.

Any further clarification is appreciated.

You'll get different altitudes assigned by ATC.

If you would like to show me a before and after screen shot of the entire waypoint display I may understand what it is you're trying to achieve.

Correct. You can't have a SID or STAR starting/ending from nowhere. They are virtual waypoints for internal use

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to know which of the 2 duplicated waypoints was the active and which was the internally created waypoint.

Here is a link to the images:
http://1drv.ms/1oqnVaU

It appears that the first of the duplicated waypoints is the active waypoint. That's what I want to confirm.

Thanks
Graham

The last waypoint of any duplicated section is the 'actual' waypoint.... this is mentioned on the actual screen.
