No, no, no.... don't disable it because you will disable the other functionality. All you have to do is change it to use another key... like Ctrl+Shift+2 or something else. That way when you hit the '2' key you will only open your cargo doors. When you hit Ctrl+Shift+2 (or whatever you choose) you will get ACARS or other functionality depending on what PFE mode you're in

OK, probably better, though I don't think I have yet used the 2 key for anything in PFE (it's almost always 0, 1, 5 or 6!).
