Running FS9 under Win 7. I've noticed that whenever request a field advisory from unicom or FSS, I'm given the weather conditions at whatever the plane's current location is rather than at the field. Doesn't seem to matter how close I am to the field. For wx I use FSMeteo, which allows you to set that distance at which it will send the destination wx to the Adventure. I have this set at 100 miles. I also tried FSMetar and got the same results...winds and pressure at the plane's location rather than at the field. Can this be fixed? FSUIPC comes with a program called Weather Set that will give you ground (and aloft) wx conditions at any airport, so I'm assuming there's some way for programs to access that data. In the meantime, my lack of piloting skills is a bigger problem than any of the add-on programs I'm using.
