Is it really only me who has all these of problems?? If PFE were working OK, it'd be great, but I seem to be spending all (well, not all, but way too much!) of my FS time trying to deal with PFE problems...

My last flight was fine, thankfully. Now I am at RJAA (Overland) and trying to get clearance. I tune in to the frequency - only to have ATC tell me to taxi to "Runway Zero" (16 and 34 are the options, L or R). Then immediately afterwards a notice comes up that I have arrived at the runway and that TGS has closed. Actually, I am still at the gate and haven't even started engines yet.

And PFE seems stuck in a loop playing static. I can't get rid of it, no matter what radio frequency I tune to. At the same time, sounds in FDC have been reduced so that I can't hear anything said in that programme. The volume settings (in FDC) are the same as they always were. So I minimize FS9, close PFE and start it up again. Now it's OK. Maybe (Dave) you need to see a log file?

The constant niggles like this are really getting in the way of enjoying FS9 (though of course, when all goes well the advantages of the programme over FS9 default are obvious). I've rerun MakeRunweays and the PFE database.

Is it the addon airports that PFE isn't coping with for some reason? I hardly ever fly from FS9 defaults, so I hope not!
