When I want to choose an airline name for my flight (PFE/Options) there is already a pretty good choice - a number of airlines I have never even heard of are included! But I wonder if this database is ever updated to include 'missing' or new airlines. I note, for instance, there is no option for Pakistan International Airlines. Is there any possibility of requesting airlines for future updates? Maybe a sticky thread here?

I don't suppose the voices will ever be updated (a LOT of work no doubt!) - no Russian voices to choose from for instance?

Many thanks...

Martin

Actually, Pakistan is there. You will find it under PIA.

Ah, OK, thanks!! I thought it was odd, no PIA..

Still wondering about any further updates though, as I have found other airlines callsigns that are not there and which would be good to have (though I realise of course that the database can't be exhaustive!). The thing with the FS9 ATC is that one could add missing callsigns with the aid of EditVoicepack of course. I guess EVP is redundant now?

(I hope no one at Oncourse - i.e. Dave M - will take all these comments as complaints! Far from it, I am very happy to have purchased the programme, it's a huge improvement over FS9 of course!!).

Just found this, which may help with Ai traffic at least:

To add a new airline would not really be possible because I would have to contact 100+ voice authors... if any of those volunteers were no longer around it would make their voice pack redundant.

Yes, that's logical ! No matter, the choice is pretty good as it is.

Thanks Dave
