I purchased PFE Deluxe version 2·14 yesterday. On installation I get the message

"Startup failed "main" with error 339 - component "MSWINSCK.OCK" or one of it's dependants not correctly registered. A file is invalid at 260"

My operating system is Windows 7 64bit, I have tried installing with Windows security and my anti virus - AVG free disabled. I installed it in the following location C/PFE same results.

Having read through other posts I tried installing the cumulative update even though it was version 2·14 also. This also repeatedly failed to install at step 2

As you can imagine I'm frustrated any help would be appreciated.
