Hello,

I've got a big Problem with PFE! I buyed it a few days ago and tryed to install it!
It worked fine until I wanted to connect PFE with the Simulator!
Then always The message "Please rebuild yor PFE Database"! So I tryed to rebuild my Database and it worked fine,
until the last second! But then there popped up an error message witch said that there was the error 75 path acces error!
Then of course I tried to remove the checkmark "read-only! then it loads, but after it's finished the check mark is still there!
After that I tried to start Pfe and Pro Flight 2000 in the admin mode!
Pro Flight 2000 reacted with the error message 13 Type mismatch and it Closes!
PFE is starting correctly but the adv files are gone in admin mode! In the normal mode they are there of course!

What can I do?

Sincerely,

Nico

Sorry to hear you're having problems with our software.

Please download and instal the latest cumulative updates package from our support forum, when installing please ensure you stop ALL other programs, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs you might have.

If you're running Windows Vista or later do NOT instal into the default "c:/program files" folder, because Windows regards that as a protected area and will prevent certain files being written and/or updated. I appreciate the installer defaults to that location but the publisher wrote the instal script long before Vista hit the shelves.

Hope that helps

Oh yes,

I am using Windows 8!
Could that be the solution?
