Hello.

The problem I am having is after hitting the "Connect to..." button, FSX doesn't do anything. I thought it should load the flight I converted?

I did everything by the book numerous times. I even installed a fresh copy of XP on a spare HDD and installed only the required software.

I have checked this forum but not found a similar problem.

I originally used Windows 7 Pro and then tried Windows XP Pro.

Any help would be great as this looks a great program.

Start FSX first and when your plane is on the correct parkingspot go to PFE and press connect to ....
PFE does not start FSX

Not sure how to load the plan from the fsx flight planner. I usually work things out.

So does pfe load the flight plan?

I have fsx running, the flight plan has been converted, I press Connect to FS, then what, because after that nothing happens.

Have you stepped through the tutorial in the user guide?

I have all updates installed.

FSUIPC4 is installed.

Runways database has been updated.

As far as I can see, everything is installed correctly.

I open PFE and convert a .pln.
I open PF2K and compile the .pln.
I open FSX.
I open PFE and load the compiled .pln and hit Connect to FS.

What am I meant to do next?

I must be missing something really obvious but can't for the life of me see what.

I had the .pln files in the wrong folder.

Yes, thanks Dave. I went through with a fine toothcomb and concluded that my edited .pln's were not in the right folder.

Once I put them in the right folder it worked and up popped the dialogue in-game.
