Hello all,
After thousands of attempts to create an ADV format flight plan with PF2000, I gave up. So is there a way for me to just use the awesome features of PFE without creating a flight plan? Say I just wanna fly VFR around my home base and I wanna enable PFE. Is that possible? Thank you.

You need a flight plan. What planners have you tried?

I used the default FSX flight planner. Should I try to create a flight plan with other planners as well? Such as the one in REX?

No, the default planner will work just fine. Perhaps you should tell us exactly what you did and what happens... I.e messages, etc

OK. So I opened REX first to generate weather. Then I opened FSX to create flight plans. I chose the departure point at KCHO and destination KROA. Altitude is 6500 ft. Aircraft type: C172 with /A. Type of flight is VFR. After that I opened up PFE and converted the FSX flight plan to FS2000 flight plan. The title shows "PFE_" at the beginning. Then I launched PF2000 and selected that flight plan and the "compile", "weather" and "View Plan" were all greyed no matter what I did with the Setting.

Please check our FAQ section with regard to your compile button being greyed out

I already tried that and those were not the reasons. Can you just deactivate my key and give me a refund?

Sorry, I don't deal with sales, you need to talk with the retailer about that.

Are your regional settings set correctly and have you watched my tutorials for PFE because something is clearly amiss..
