PFE DOES NOT HAVE ANY SIDS/STARS BUILT IN!!!!

PFE allows you to fly whatever procedures you want, straight out of the box!

OK let's cut the semantics short!

PFE is a two module package. It consists of Proflgiht 2000 and the Emulator. Sir you are selling this combo as a package for ATC in FSX.

I fully understand that Proflight 2000 was not written by you but you are reselling it as a part of your emulator package and yes Proflight does have STARS built in so stop it. And when you generate an adventure file it will take notice of the STAR.

As for the best use that I have for your product is to fly vectors only. I can generate a simple flight plan on FSX and compile it in Proflight 2000 using your emulator and then I'm off to flying with vectors only.

Your package is simply not the best for flying STARS and SIDS period.

That being said - I think you've created a really nice product that beats the built in ATC feature of FSX. It is definitely worth buying for regular flying.

You know my complaint very well, as I'm sure I'm not the only one with this complaint - so just man up and accept my complaint. At least I still think your product is a neat package worth buying. And out of respect for you I wont mention the other product name but when it come to ATC their's is better for STARS and SIDS. remember sir that your product says it is better then theirs, but that in my opinion is esclusive only to the voice quality.

I feel I have a right to vent because your product does not have a trial download to take on a test run. So I had to fork over $## to try your product. Will you give me a refund if I'm unsatisfied???

Cause if you wont - you have no right to shoot me down - Roger and 10 4 good buddy we have radar contact.

Okay, let me say it again in plain English. PFE does NOT contain ANY Sids/Stars. PF2000 does but we DON'T use them in PFE. If you try to use them you will have issues.. Period! PF2000 has always removed waypoints from Flight Plans... Nothing i can do. We actually use very little from PF2000 in PFE!

You CAN fly ANY procedure you want with PFE provided you do NOT include it in your flight plan. Such procedures would not form part of you're flight plan in the real world either and procedures can and are changed by ATC when and if necessary. They can also be terminated early too.

As for this other atc program you don't want to mention, please feel free. I have absolutely no problem in anyone mentioning Radar Contact or any other program... I'm simply not that small minded. I'm sure it's an excellent program... personally i always preferred Proflight.

Now go fly ;-)

Hi Dave,

Just posted the STAR to show how I was able to fly it with no problem.

I totally know that PFE does not have STARS and your advice to not use it in PF2000, understood.

That being said, I created the flight plan in FSX using the STARS waypoints. Then I adjusted some of the altitudes in the ADV file with the available waypoints Proflight generated. After that I was able to use flight path in my default GPS and PFE ATC stepped me down the STAR just fine.

The simulation was acceptable and the step down was flawless. I was actually able to bring the tube down with no flaps, no spoilers and just using speed reduction to 7000'. And yes PFE ATC began to vector me to ILS RWY 22 before PROUD so that is as realistic as it could get. I bet if the ACTIVE was RWY 4 I would have been allowed to fly the STAR all the way to PROUD before I would be cleared to intercept the ILS for that runway.

PFE ATC worked like a charm and I'm sure I would be able to simulate other STARS as well in this manner.

Good product and I will continue to use it for SID and STAR procedures. While the product in PFE does not have SIDS/STARS, it can support them by tweaking the ADV file's waypoints. Just takes a little getting used to.

Excellent product Dave all things considering.

I recomend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a good ATC experience.
