Recently I have had an issue whereby ATC gives me instructions but there is no sound nor running text. The only reason I know I am being given these instructions is because the co-pilot confirms back the message to ATC.

Now this does not happen all the time during the flight just on an intermitent basis perhaps say 2 out of 10 instruction messages.

However,I guess that this should not happen at all and I am therefore wondering if you can help please.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Next time it happens please send me the debug log before starting another flight. If you haven't started another flight since this occurred please send the log you have.
Thanks

It looks like you have one of these files missing

ProFlightW\pfchat0G

or

ProFlightW\pfchat406G

My guess is the later.

Have you ever installed the latest cumulative updates package from this forum?

If you have then please look at the following post
