Hello PFE

I have run into problems after a re-install, allthough i have followed instructions to the dot, and cleaned the PC leaving no dead bodies around beforehand.

I run FSX, FSC and have all expansions packs etc. avail. for PFE, and it ran nicely before, and i have followed all instructions as to firewall,window nags, pathc aso. and all old FP's was deleted. I have made this Twice, and used the whole day :shock:

Problem are still remaining;
I start PFE,select the FP from the Default location C:/User/Documet...click the Convert button, and here is the first anormality, PFE tells me that no changes is nesseary for the FP, and it saves it in the PFE/FS2000/Pilot folder as it should, now as PFE_EKCHEDDF fe.
Then i click the PF2000 ikon and enter callsign+alt. then Select the FP, and Select FP, but the compile button remains grey (as view and print plan) and i can not make a ADV file.
I have seen in forum that some FP program make the fp ready for PF2000, so i have also tried enter them directly into PF2000 without any luck.

I am completely excausted now, A N Y help is M U C H appreciated

Take Care
JP

From our FAQ's

A few things to check in ProFlight Settings... please ensure you have your Cruise Altitude set to at least the same altitude as that in your flight plan... also ensure the Center Altitude is not too low (you may need to experiment with this one but tests have shown it can be too low which can prevent PF compiling the flight plan.... the default is 14,500)... also make sure the Center altitude is lower than the cruise altitude... if your regional currency settings are set to a comma rather than a decimal character that can also prevent PF from compiling the ADV flight file. If all else fails please try setting your regional settings to English just to see if that cure the problem.

Hej Dave

Thanks for a quick reply. I have in the meantime experimented with a default fsx flightplan (with same setting/procedure) and i works without any problem.

It seems that the plans from FlightSimCommander 9 is the problem for PFE, and i do save them in all possible formats (FSX,PMDG,F1,XLM etc.) and the plans are in the right location, but again, PFE says it doesnt need to make any change to the FP - yet again - not compiled plan.

I have checked the mentioned center and cruise alt. and it was ok.

About the regional setting, seems to have forgotten how to ? :oops:

To anyone having same issue, i found the solution, during reinstall copying some folders, or by install setup, double FSX simulator files folders where created, one witinn the other, in the default C location and pointed the path to each one seperately in FSC and PF2000.
Lesson to learn is also to check for this surprising issue, if you run into troubles. Now i will go flying instead :lol:
