Can someone let me know how I can get the stand alone app version of the TGS Guage(TGS_Display.exe) as currently I can still get no response both visually nor audio wise from the current instalment.

I thank you in anticipation.

For your information I installed version 1.84(4/08) from Areosoft and then installed the cumaltive updates but although the guage is in the panel I get no action from it whatsoever,it is becoming very frustrating and is spoiling the enjoyment of a most excellent piece of software.

You should already have it... look in your TGS_Gauge folder (It was included in version 2.12)

A complete setup program can be downloaded from HERE for those wanting to install on a non-PFE pc

Hi Dave,

I have just realised that this will not work on my current PC which is the only one I use for flight simulation.

I am still having major issues in getting the TGS Gauge to work although it appears in my flight panel.I do not have any green arrow nor audio support-it is totally redundant.

I have tried everything but I cannot get it to work.

I recently installed version 1.84 from Aerosoft and then used your cumalitive update download, installed is now 2.14, but the gauge has never worked.

I really love PFE it works so well apart from the TGS Gauge and would love to sort out this problem.
Would really appreciate it if you could assist further and I have read somewhere that the guage does not work with this updated version-is this so?

Please come back.

Dave,

I downloaded the TGS_Display and it appeared on my flight panel and the green lights showed up for about 2 seconds and then vanished. When I used my mouse to say to turn on the auto throttle or anything else then the guage just vanished until I retrieved it by clicking on my task bar. Also when the guage was visible if I wanted to say click F11 on my keypad then it wouldn't let me do it-it froze it out.

I therefore unistalled it as I then realised that it had to be installed on another PC.

Is this correct?
Incidentally under version 2.14 this particular guage was not in my TGS gauge folder.

Many thanks.

Yes it's a standalone program, not a gauge. Primarily for use on a second monitor, not necessarily another pc.

Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

Due to the fact that I cannot get my TGS gauge to work do you think I need to uninstall and then reinstall the Aerosoft version and then download the cumulative updates again?

As far as the TGS Display is concerned I did get it into my flight panel and briefly lit up but then nothing and I am wondering whether you can throw any light on the possible cause of it not working properly.

Many thanks.

TGS display will only sit on your FS panel whilst it has Windows focus and whilst running FS in window mode. As soon as you click on the FS panel, focus is passed to FS and the TGS display window simply sits behind FS.

It's not a problem and there's nothing to resolve, it's how windows works

Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

Please forgive my ignorance what do you mean by 'windows focus-do you mean that whilst running FSX that I must be running in windows mode as because that is what I normally use.

What I did recently was to download the TGS Display and then have it on my taskbar and then click on it to open one FSX was running.

Look forward to your reply.

Michael
