I am having a problem with those two airports. First, I compiled a flight from OEDF to OMDB, once the flight compiled, the controller said " your flight has been compiled, contact unicom on .......". I thought since OEDF was opened 1999, PROFLIGHT didn't recognized it. Then I checked the BRF txt and all of the airport frequencies are 0s. I went ahead with the flight and when I connected PFE, it showed that the transition level is 18000 which is wrong. It should have been 13000, and all of the accents are American instead of Arabian or their backups. But, departure and center are Arabian. When I compiled the return flight, all frequencies for OEDF were in the BRF txt and the transition level was 13000. Then, I when compiled a flight form LGAV the same thing happened except I haven't done a flight into LGAV. Now, both airports are add ons. Flytampa Athens and a freeware OEDF and I had rebuild the scenery database multiple times.

P.S. I am using the latest makerunway.

Thank you in advance

PFE uses the frequencies from FS which is why that airport is recognized.

Transition altitudes and regional ascents can ask new adjusted from within PFE.

Please ensure you are using version 2.14 when check the user guide for more details

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I am using 2.14. And what I am trying to say if OEDF is the destination, there is no problem, but if it is the departure airport, then PFE doesn't recognize it as an Arabian airport and it is the same for LGAV.

I would still suggest you check out the regional accents options available in PFE to set that airport accordingly

I checked them. Greek is set to 8000 and Arabian is set to 13000, and even if I changed them from the SID and STAR page, the transistion altitudes will change but the accents will stay American, but not Dep and Center. And If they are the arrival airports they work fine but the problem is only when they are the dep airports.

Dave,

In the regional accents options page, I have not changed the default accents to the Arabian , like this, 2 Base + 8 backups, African, Asian and Hindi. Non of the American Accents. The same for the Greek, it is still the default and no American accents. But the program treats those two Airports as if they were in the US, not dep nor centers, they are normal Arabian and Greeks. Do you have a solution? Or anybody encountered something like that?
