I loaded it c:/ and still having sound problems. I hear the captain start the checks can't hear first officer respond then half way though the checks you hear captain and first officer. Then at the end of checks you don't ever hear anyone say checks completed. Would you know if its a sound card issue or anything your aware off or can advice.

Hi Drew,
"sounds" like something is conflicting with your sound card(sorry for the pun )
Are you using an external soundcard like soundblaster or one that's built in to your motherboard.
It could be a latest window update(been unindated with them recently)..

I am using an internal sound card and windows did an automatic update recently.

only other suggestion is to uninstall your soundcard or search for updated drivers for it or try a repair job on it and then update..
