Hello all

I have just installed FDC which I purchased way back in 2007 but finally got it up and running. Forgot I'd bought it!!

Anyway, I have noticed that the flaps have started setting themselves on the descent and the speed reduces accordingly.

If I try to set the speed in the IAS/MACH display on the MCP the FSUIPC window appears and as I am turning the speed selector it says 'VCP ON/OFF' ON/OFF etc

I've checked all the settings etc but can't seem to find what to switch off?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

ALWAT

If you're setting the mcp using the keyboard you probably have a hotkey contention issue

Hello Dave

Thank you for your reply.

I'm using CPFlight's MCP. I haven't assigned any hot keys in FDC. Only the recommended key commands by CPFlight are assigned and all FS assignments are deleted too.

Regards

Alan

Alan, hotkeys are set by default... Check the list to see of you might have a conflict

Hello Dave

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. All resolved now and also a couple of other related issues which I found in the FDC main menu.

Very grateful

Rgds
