Hello Dave,

hope you can find an answer and that it's easy to solve:

Today I wanted to start my first transatlantic flight from EDDK to KBOS.

I build a flightplan with FSBuild and compiled it with PF2000.

I loaded the adv in PFE and found the bar for selecting the oceanic procedure to be started and end greyed out. I loaded another adv in PFE e.g. from EDDF to LGAV and it was available for selection.

After trying and trying I found out that as soon as any NATS waypoint like 5430N is in the flightplan the oceanic feature is not ready.

Maybe you can try it on your system?

Kind regards,

Axel

Axel,
when creating a flightplan for Transatlantic flights you need to add a Track.

In FS Build you need to click on Atlantic tracks tab and insert it into the flightplan, once you have done that you wont have any problems creating your adv file..

Hi Dave,

thanks for your reply.

I was able to compile the FSBuild flightplan to the adv file. The thing is, I cannot choose the oceanic feature on the main menu of PFE. The atlantic tracks are included in the flightplan. I don't know why PFE doesn't like the atlantic tracks. When I remove the NATS e.g. N55/30 or so, the oceanic feature is available within PFE as in other flightplans I compiled before. E.g. EDDM-LGAV etc...

Would it help to send you my flightplan with the north atlantic track included and you can test it on your PFE?

Cheers,

Axel

If you already have Shanwick/Gander in your flight plan then the 'Define Oceanic' option is disabled because you already have an Oceanic flight plan. That option is only to create Oceanic procedures in flight plans that would not normally include them
