I'm unable to reach center after departing from an non-towered airport for a towered airport (KMTJ-KJAC). FSS gives me 0.0 as the center frequency. However during another flight, KMTJ-KDEN I can contact center after departure even though FSS gives me 0.0 as the center frequency.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Suggestion:

Contact the Flight Service Station on 122.2 and request the Center Frequency (Keyboard #4 if you don't use voice recognition). Quite often, the Center frequency will be different from that in the documentation and is a tad misleading.
