hi,ive recently installed fdc 2011 for fsx[downloaded version], after a few install snags and problems configuring the aerosoft aibus x with the a320 panel,i mangaged to get it configured with a320 pic,anyway the main problem im having is loss of sound in the cockpit,ie half way through checklist it stops,i also loose all cockpit sounds ie flap lever sounds gear lever etc,this has only started occuring since i installed fdc,this is happening randomly be it on the ground and in the air,if i dissconnnect fdc and reconnect i get fdc audio back and my cockpit sounds but obviously somethings not right and its getting to the point where its not worth running fdc,i also ckeck with fsuipc when this sound fault occurs, and it says fdc still active,so it doesnt appear to be dissconection thats the problem many thanks.

Have you tried using FDC with another aircraft,i have alot of addon aircraft and never had a sound issue like that..

What snags did you have when installing?

What A320 panel are you using?

Hi dave,I'm using the a320 pic panel for the airbus x as the standard a320 panel with Fdc said the flap config was incorrect,during install I had an active x error and sound object error,I found a accumative update which I installed for that problem.

download one or more of my profiles for Airbuses from flightsim or our website, A319-A321,A330/A340 PSS and CLS,one of them should connect,just as an experiment to see if it cures the sound issue.
If not,could it be a soundcard issue,what is in your system?

Hi,I've downloaded ur wilco a320 panel but it won't connect with my a320 due to wrong flap config,the only setting I can get it to work with is the a320 pic panel,will find out what sound card I'm using and post back to u,tried again tonight and was fine for ten minutes then the checklist just cuts off untill I reconnect,I installed Fdc to my e drive and not default c,could that be an issue? many thanks

hi dave,ive tried different aircraft,a reinstall,run as admin,and still having problems,its fine for a while then fdc audio just isnt there till i disconnect then recconect,the flightdeck hot keys dont work either,even if i change the hot key to another,would it be worth sending u the black box by email?? its quite frustrating as im sure this is a very worth while add onn when its running correctly,ive also tried to use user wav files to kick in at certain points but no joy with those either,im using fsuipc 4.703,and fdc 3.140,im running quite a few add onns with fsx,but never had an issue like this before,any suggestion,?? sound wise im using asus xonar dg audio device,running on win 7 64 bit,many thanks

please send me your fdc config file to david.leesley@hotmail.co.uk not your blackbox file,you will find it in your main fdc folder as configuration file..

hi dave,did u recieve my email with the fdc config file? just another question regarding the user wav files,if i go onto wav files and choose voice 1,there are lots of comments like,welcome message from captain etc,are these active in fdc as ive never heard them,and can u use them as a flightdeck user message?? many thanks

e-mail sent,insert my ini file into your folder,you may need to replace aircraft as mine will show Leveld 767...

As for voices,yes they are present,just load FS and FDC to test..
