Greetings everyone,

I own PFE for two days and I almost love it, almost because I have two problems, I have already spend two days looking for solutions on my own but it's time to give up and ask for your help. The problems are:

- Firs one: missing ATC sound files. I know it has been discussed on this forum but I didn't find solution for me. I have the latest 2.14 package and I'm installing it with admin rights on Win7 Home but some of the files are missing, I tried installing it on my second PC with Win XP and the effect is exactly the same, I have reinstalled it about 30 times till now and tried to extract all .exe archives in WAV directory with no avail. Is there anything that could be done about it? Maybe some rar/zip archive to download with all the .wav files so that I could fix it on my own. It wouldn't be the most elegant solution, but effective that's for sure

-Second problem: after reaching destination I'm not instructed to descend (I also can't contact dest. Approach etc), if I try to do it on my own ATC instructs to climb back to to my predefined cruise level. Of course altitudes are adjusted correctly in PFE. Tried with few destinations so far, always with the same effect. There's also one more thing that might be connected to this issue: I'm flying accordingly to my flight plan loaded into PFE and programmed into FMS, but ATC is informing me that I'm lets say 400 miles away from airway, even if "Airway deviation distance" is set to 0. I have the feeling that PFE doesn't know where I am, therefor I don't get descend instructions.

I will be very thankful for any help, I love the way PFE have changed my departures but I also would like to experience some approaches and landings now

Have you installed the accumulative package (all in one) 50mb file from the link in forum,i have just checked my folders and the files you are having trouble with are in the correct folders...

What flight planner are you using,i use FS Build and FSC 8.3.

I tend to create plans using vor to vor and spacing the waypoints out abit in FSC 8.3 for that reason,somehow your waypoints are too close together in PFE.

Thanks for response Yes I have installed the accumulative update but those files are still missing. I have purchased this application two days ago so I only have 2.14 package, is it possible that those files are missing from this package for some reason?

Regarding flight planning: most of my flight plans are downloaded from vroute or VATroute, I don't have any additional tools to create flight plans because I have to many expensive hobbies and simply can't afford them all But I'll try to make some VOR to VOR flight plan in FSX and see what will happen.

Seems that I have resolved the "no descend" issue by changing my >Format< in >Region and Language< settings from Polish to English UK, there was some problem with runway elevation for example 1411.00 was changed to 141100 feet

Now the missing sound files, is there any way to get those files other than original installer? It's not very big problem in CP Mode 2 or 3, but if I'll try to handle comm's myself I will miss almost all climb/descend instructions because they are not played, now I can hear only my copilot's acknowledgements.

I don't know whether you remember but I had a similar problem with missing .wav files as discussed in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=639&start=10. You sent me a link from which to download a .zip archive which contained the files I was missing and this cured the problem.

I notice that the files that Gregorz is missing are contained in that package - perhaps he could solve his problem if he had access to it?

I installed PFE 2.14 with xpack 1 and 2 and the 'missing files' sets as instructed. I encounter the exact same problem as mentioned in this thread.

The file at the path in the last line is not there.

Please, I don't know how and why it is that after all this trouble the install of this payed-for product is still incomplete.
Assuming that you guys developing this software are using a fully working install, can't you just make a .zip of the whole ADV/Wav folder and send it to us poor but loyal customers? This is getting very frustrating.
